CARNAVAL PLATJA DE ARO 2014 ENG.

The 37th Carnival of Playa de Aro presents, from February 22 to March 5, 2014 , twenty family nature activities with the street as the main stage , and popular character ( there are only three payment activities ) . The Grand Parade of floats and is on Saturday March 1 , again unfolded : morning parade ten groups out of competition (11 h ) , and afternoon colles 65 vying for award 

(16 h ) . The main novelty are the windows of Carnival Competition ( exhibition daily from Carnival) and Carnival Deportivo ( Friday 28 February) . Continuity is also given to the Children and Youth Rua .

The Grand Parade distributed 6,000 euros in prizes in four categories: Float Large, Float Small, Troupes , and Local Collas . All participating groups is also given ( morning and evening ) a subsidy of 250 euros to the floats and 3 euros per person in disguise. Also participating groups carnival kings of Castell d' Aro , Sant Feliu and Santa Cristina d' Aro ( out of competition) . The award is the same Saturday, March 1 at the bar dancing carnival in the Sports Palace and Congress , is the main protagonist in the Poble Sec Salseta.

Previously, the 2nd Children and Youth Parade ( Sunday, February 22 · 11 h ) is organized in patterns of Panda or AMPA - School , while in the two categories : Children ( up to 11 years and infant and primary -) and youth (12 to 16 years, ESO) . The theme of Rua 's " The Circus " and costumes should follow this theme and made ​​mostly with recycled material.
