Great floats and Rua: Saturday, February 6

The 39th Carnival of Platja d'Aro presented from 30 January to 10 February, twenty activities with the street as a main stage of the proposals. The Department of Tourism of the City of Castell-Platja d'Aro and the Federation of Carnival Gang commitment to remain a popular carnival and family and that's why most proposals are free. The poster Carnival, an element that always generates excitement because it is also the public, and has the shape of a face made of clothes.

It gives continuity to the widening of the Great Rua floats and Saturday February 6: morning parade a dozen gangs in display mode (11 h) and afternoon, the seventy opt to awards kind of competition (16 h). Also participating gang Kings Carnival Castell-Platja d'Aro, twinning carnival and San Feliu and Santa Cristina d'Aro, but out of competition. The awards ceremony is on Saturday 6 February, as part of the carnival ball in the Palace of Sports and Convention Center, from midnight to Abercoks.

Previously, the activity begins Saturday January 30 with dinner and Carnival Gang comedy show and musical presentation of each of the local gangs. The next day, Sunday January 31 parade celebrates the child S'Agaró and Change of Attributes between Carnival 2015 with this year's Gang And what do you mind ?, initiate his reign.

The parade of the municipal nursery is Wednesday 3rd February and the popular sausage. The Maundy Thursday inaugurated a popular rice for a thousand people, continues with the opening of Their Majesties and Carnival concludes with the presentation of costumes and choreography of the local gang. Sunday February 7, take the street activities with games giant parade Gang Local Castell d'Aro and musical entertainment with Percuait and Katakitinga. The Burial of the Sardine, Wednesday 10 February concludes the events of Carnival.
